Directionchange.xls
The Excel macro of the month (directionchange.xls) allows you
to set the direction the Excel cell pointer moves in when you press
the Enter key. It can move up, down or to the left or right, and
you can pick an option by selecting it from the small custom dialog
that appears when you run the macro. Not only is the direction set,
but the macro also enables the 'move on pressing Enter' feature
so that the cell pointer will move every time you press Enter. The
macro includes a small dialog you can select the option from. To
make this available to all your Excel worksheets, you can copy the
macro and dialog (created using a VBA userform) to your Personal.xls
file and then attach the part of the macro that displays the dialog
to a toolbar button. Then the feature is just one click away.
